06/29/2005 | W4FWD We had bunches of fun at the Field Day site. Of course, all Field Day sites need the "arm chair" supervisor to insure the proper erection of antennas. A young lady was able to contact a Canadian Field Day site. Unfortunately, the day turned to rain, but that did not dampen our spirits. As a reward for our diligence, we logged a contact from Hawaii as well as two contacts from Brisbane, Australia (in addition to the other fine Field Day Operators). -- N4FWD
