07/06/2004 | KC2RA KINGS COUNTY REPEATER ASSOCIATION IS ALLOWED TO USE A REAL FINE LOCATION FOR THEIR ARRL FIELD DAY EXERCISE

At the high point of Staten Island, Kings County Repeater Association operated this years FD station. Located on the St. John's University campus, members used a building's roof for antennas and enjoyed the comfort of an air conditioned operating position.

This writer apologizes for not having a picture of their efforts. It seems that I am a victim of operator error. I did have a change to speak at length with the club's president, Ed Madison - W2SN about a number of amateur radio issues.
