06/28/2004 | W5QGG This year was one of the best Field Day's the Midland Amateur Radio Club has held. We operated 2A with a GOTA station and VHF station. The soccer pavilion we operated from was an excellent location. Other than a gust front of blowing dust hitting us around 6:30 Saturday night the weather was great. Not too hot. Even had to put a jacket on in the evening. A great time was had by all. Can't wait until next year! -- N5NA
