08/20/2003 | K4EJQ Interesting conditions for the UHF contest. Activity was good at the start of the contest, but conditions were overall poor. Even from our site at +6600 asl, which is the highest point east of the mississippi there were times when no signals were present even on SSB 2m band. Of course there were times with high winds and rain that we were not checking to closely! Meals Included! -- WB4WEN
