12/09/2002 | N6PE Sorry I missed the contest this year. Spent Friday in the east coast snow storm. Was awake 20 hours straight when I got about an hour in the contest on Saturday. I hope there were some other stations in the Orange Section on this year. Next year I will be using a pencil wrapped with a full wave of No. 60 wire. That should improve my signal by at least 10 DB. -- N6PE
