The Northern California DX Club (NCDXC) has donated $8000 to the Northern California DX Foundation (NCDXF). A symbolic check presentation took place at the club’s annual picnic on July 20. “This donation, the largest ever received from a club, will help to provide critical funding to DXpeditions high on the Most Wanted List,” Foundation President Rusty Epps, W6OAT, stated. “Without support such DXpeditions would not be possible. We are very grateful for this donation and value our partnership with NCDXC.” The NCDXC boasts more than 150 members from all over Northern California, with most living in the San Francisco Bay Area. The NCDXF this year is celebrating  40 years of support to DXpeditions, often to entities that are too costly for small groups or individuals to finance on their own.
