| I have an Ft-991A and recently had solar put on my roof (near my vertical). I got a lot of noise that wipes out anything with a 5/9+ signal. My radio front end will also frequently attenuate the signal immediately after transmitting, rendering the radio unusable so that I have to turn it off and return later. I moved my antenna from the roof to the back fence which helped some. I thought there might be two separate issues (radio damage & inverter noise) but I hooked up my old alinco dx-70 and the same thing happened. Any thoughts? | ||
