Hallicrafters SX-71 build Two Restoration | Darin | on 18/1/18 |
I am looking for a minor restoration. This radio is pristine. It just needs dusting, capacitors and a tuning. Is there anybody that does this? I suppose I could clean and test the components but tuning is beyond me. dpierce3@gmail.com |

So this nice gentleman gave me a beautiful Hallicrafters SX-71 run 4 receiver. However he included his homemade transmitter. This thing is way beyond me. It looks pretty good but I would never even plug this beast in. 4 foot cabinet, two huge power supplies. What do I do with it? dpierce3@gmail.com in southern Rhode Island |

I have a little 2M dipole and a hand held for the I.S.S. Will I get better reception with a good ground? |
