Me and a fellow ham were discussing control operators and local, remote and automatic...I mentioned that I felt if you set up FT8 to be fully automated and walked away you would be in violation of Part97.109. He simply asked, that what about the little "tx'ers" used for Fox Hunting? Good question, when I read Part 97.203, that seemed to cover, can a PART97 Expert please answer this and if it's not a beacon, is it legal to even set up. Seems to be a grey area
