| I have a simple set up; a 2m radio and a 5/8 wave ground plane antenna. I run the radio off a 12 v battery which charges from a solar panel. I understand an 8 ft ground rod is needed to ground the antenna. Can I cut the ground rod in half and use two 4 ft grounding rods? Thank you, Bob KK4QYN |
