I just got my Yaesu FT-7900R and I would like to use it as a base station. I currently live in Hawaii but will be moving to Abu Dhabi, UAE in the spring (getting licensed to operate over there is whole other thread!). I am looking at power supplies and noticed YAESU FP-1023A is listed as dual voltage 120/240v. It says there is an internal jumper to switch out and I'll be good to go. Is it that easy? Worse case, couldn't I just plug it into a 240v-to-120v transformer? WH6EIQ, Eric |
