I need a short jumper cable to connect my antenna switch to my radio.
I happen to have a six foot jumper but it is rated at 72 ohms. Will this
be okay or do I have to buy or make a 50 ohm cable?

To get maximum efficiency out of your antenna system everything between the transmitter and antenna should be of the same impedance. However a short piece of 75 ohm jumper cable probably won't make much difference.
