Portable Antenna Mast

Anyone have a good plan for a low cost portable antenna mast. I'm looking to buid one for Field Day. I have tried the MFJ mast and it broke. Thinking about using a 16' painters pole for my diploe this year. |

A late post. I bought fiberglass poles on Ebay. They are used to support camo netting. Those coupled with the dish support from a Hughesnet dish and a piece of PVC worked wonders. One person set up.Contact me and I'll send out pix and more details. |
