UNO was invented by Merle Robbins, a barber from Ohio, who developed the game as a fun way to play with his family. After seeing its popularity among friends and neighbors, he decided to produce the first version of the game himself. Eventually, he sold the rights to a group of investors who formed International Games, Inc. The game’s popularity skyrocketed, and in 1992, Mattel acquired UNO, making it a global phenomenon. Today, UNO is available in multiple languages and has special editions featuring popular franchises. The goal of uno online is simple: be the first player to score 500 points by getting rid of all your cards before your opponents do. However, many people play using house rules that allow for single-round victories or alternative scoring methods. Setup and Basic Rules Number of Players: UNO can be played with 2 to 10 players, making it a versatile game for different group sizes. Deck Composition: The standard UNO deck consists of 108 cards in four colors: Red, Blue, Green, and Yellow Each color contains numbers 0 to 9 Action cards add a strategic twist Dealing Cards: Each player is dealt seven cards. The rest of the deck is placed in a draw pile, with the top card turned over to start the discard pile. Gameplay: Players take turns playing a card that matches the color or number of the top discard pile card. If a player cannot play, they must draw one card from the deck. Special action cards can change the course of the game. The first player to play all their cards wins the round. |
