Strange RFI

Sir: I am W3KS and live in Rehoboth Beach Delaware, about three weeks ago, what sounds like power Line buzzing going up and down started on 3.680 Mhz at about S9. It is their all the time, What is strange the amplitude comes down a with the Sun rising. I can still see it at 10:30 in the morning going up and down about 2 to 3 db from the noise floor. This signal covers most of the 80 meter band but drops off in the 75 meter portion. I can also see the noise floor on the 40 meter band moving up and down maybe 1 db. It makes me think its being propagated from some distance. Have you heard anything being reported like this. I would think if it was close the amplitude would be steady. Thank You Denton Aylor W3KS |
