Difficulty Tuning in Voices

Hello, I’m a pretty new General license ham, and I just bought my first HF Radio , an ICOM 7300 about two years old. I have a multi-band dipole antenna, and as far as I can tell my signal and radio function well. The problem I’m having is that even with strong voice signals I often can’t tune the voice in well enough to understand the words. I suspect that there is some control on the radio that should adjust this, but I haven’t found it yet. Any suggestions?? Thank you, Kevin Bigelow KO6CDX |
