Recently I have seen various You Tube videos about using aluminum screen material as counterpoise material for portable quarter wave vertical antennas being deployed for POTA,etc. I have seen other videos praising the virtues of using faraday cloth for this purpose.My question is which one performs better? I have already purchased the screen material, but I will wait to see what responses I get to this question. DON CHEPURNA W1BRY |

One you-tuber said there was no difference in performance. I suspect that is a fairly accurate statement. Maybe you can use the screen now then try the cloth later... |
