I know how to set a TR-751A memory. I cannot find any indication in the user's guide about how to clear a memory. When the processor is reset, the memories are set to "------" (inactive). I would like to be able to reset a memory to inactive, without having to reset the processor (and losing all memory data). Anyone know how? Thanks- AC0XU Jim |

I have the same radio and I haven't found a way to "clear" a memory location. A little searching on the internet didn't turn up anything either. I have entered the same frequency in several memory locations to prevent it from stopping on a frequency I'm not interested in when it is scanning. Bill |

I seem to remember that some older radios had no way to clear a memory (aside from a complete reset that would clear all memory). You could overwrite a memory. |
