Is it permissible to transmit movie sound bites for entertainment on amateur bands? Nothing to do with amateur radio. |

Also, many interesting scenes will have background music, which will broaden sidebands, increasing your signal bandwidth (although admittedly, this is lower volume than the spoken dialogue). Transmitting recorded music is another violation, and would be an additional copyright infringement as well. This must be a very tempting idea for the guys who are trying to achieve high fidelity audio on AM, which I remember running across in another topic. Larry K0WUQ |
