I'm building two full-size inverted vees, one for 75M and one for 40M. The supports are common to both antennas: the center support is a 30' tower and the end supports are 13' wooden poles. The 75M antenna is on top. Each antenna is fed with RG8 and has its own choke. They'll be just a few feet apart vertically. With all the materials available to go either way, would there be any advantage in making it a two-band fan dipole instead (say, from an interaction or SWR bandwidth point of view)?

Typically fan dipoles fare worse in terms of SWR interaction and SWR bandwidth than separate dipoles.

Thanks, Zak, that's what I was looking for.
