When one is sending a string of numbers (or letters) and one makes a mistake in the middle of the string, one sends a series of 8 dits. Now what? Does one send the correction and then continue with the string or does one start the string from the beginning?

Hello Colin,

Thanks for writing. The common practice is INDEED to send a string of dits after an error, then resume sending the correct/corrected message. We all use it - distractions happen while sending (or being all thumbs at times). 73 Bart Jahnke, W9JJ, ARRL Radiosport Manager
