Adding more frequencies to hand held

Does anyone know of a place to have my Anytone D878 updated for additional frequencies? The current default is 136 MHz to 178MHz and I was hoping to get 6 meter band (50 MHz to 54 MHz) added to my list of channels. |

Unless a radio has a wide coverage receive function, reception over additional frequencies requires bypassing analog filters. Additional filters are needed to meet FCC spectral purity requirements on transmit. Zak Lau W1VT ARRL Senior Lab Engineer |
