Adding More Directors to a Yagi Antenna

Does adding more director elements(same length), and keeping the same spacing between the elements, make more Db gain? What type of Formula do you use to calculate, the length/number of elements to see a benefit? |

You may want to research DL6WU long Yagis. The idea is to develop a taper schedule to practically design long yagis. K1FO and W1EJ also did work along these longs. http://www.ifwtech.co.uk/g3sek/diy-yagi/index.htm Short Yagis are typically designed by trial and error so it is harder to extend them. Or shorten them.
