Interface Cable Availability

Where would I go to get an interface control cable for the TS-480 SAT. The computer I am using does not have a 9 pin port on it. My computer has several USB ports but no 9 pin ports. I will probably need an adapter. Is there anything that I should consider when purchasing this connection. |

You can buy a serial port to USB adapter very inexpensively. Needs to have driver software for your computer operating system. There are counterfeits that won't work properly. If you have a desktop computer you may want to install a serial port card. That way you won't turn on your computer and discover that the com port numbers on your adapter have be changed, requiring you to update your programs to recognize this change.
