Does any know if the QRPGuys KD1JV Code Trainer will accept the output from a Logikey model K1 Keyer. My Bencher is wired to play into the Logikey Keyer and I’d like to try it that way for code practice. Tnx Pat |

http://qrpguys.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/10/trainer_100217.pdf http://qrpguys.com/qrpguys-code-trainer In theory, the keying circuit of the Logikey should be able to key the KD1JV Code Trainer so that the code trainer acts as a sidetone for the Logikey. If you do that the Logikey's own sidetone should be disabled, so that you are only listening to one tone. Creating two tones makes little sense as being able to pick out one tone corresponding to the signal you want top work out of many is a valuable CW skill Zack Lau W1VT ARRL Senior Lab Engineer |
