Hello All, I just made my first QSO but I operate mobile in a lot of cases. I have in mind to send the gentleman a QSL card, so I need to purchase some. I know that on many cards we put our address down, but that doesn't seem very useful if operating away from our address. I feel like I should leave the address blank and fill in my current grid square each time before I send a QSL card. What do you think? |

I suppose I would use my home QTH for the printed address but indicate my mobile/portable location in a written note. So that's an argument for a QSL design that leaves space for whatever notes are needed. People who spend a lot of time at a particular QTH away from home often design a unique card for that location. Or a card with two addresses and a check box to indicate which you were using. 73 Martin AA6E |
