I wonder if you could give me any advice on a Heath Kit SB 200 amp I am rebuilding. I have about 12, .02 uf Disc capacitor in the unit used for rf bypass that I would like to replace. The caps have no voltage rating printed on them nor does the schematic indicate a voltage value. Also I have been unable to find .02 value anywhere. Can I use a different value ? Any advice would be appreciated. Ricky A Richards Sr rrichardssr@gmail.com N2ENM |

Hi Ricky, I wouldn't expect them to go bad. But, if you want to replace them there is a good discussion about these capacitors. http://electronics.stackexchange.com/questions/268938/i-am-restoring-a-heath-kit-sb200-linear-amp http://www.w6kan.com/sb200.htm Here is a lot of advice on rebuilding the SB-200.
