Feeding a Vertical Antenna With Ladder Line

I have a 36' vertical (stealth) antenna (downspout) that I fed with 450 Ohm ladder line and a MFJ-901b tuner. The result on 20 Meters was excellent; my first contact from MI was a VE8 in British Columbia! Today, I worked NH on 40 Meters! The radiation angle is apparently very low! |
