Triplexer causing high SWR ?

I guess I can safely assume that some transceivers are more sensitive than others, when it comes to SWR. This is based on my experiencing a high SWR with one 2 meter radio and not the other using the same antenna and triplexer. The ft-2900 works fine, but the ft-897 gets high SWR. I'm using diamond tri-band vertical and a triplexer. Pleases share your thoughts! |

Replace the antenna with a dummy load and see if you get the same results. Also check to see if the radio is connected to the right ports of the triplexer. BB |

You can have issues with bad jumper cables. |
