I am trying to find someone in the Harrisburg, PA area that sells ham equipment mainly because I like to look and touch a product before I buy it especially since I'm still new. I have a lot of experience with CB tech but not the amateur side of things. Trying to scope it out before I go for my General Class License test on Oct 17. Thanks for the help, Dan Bailey KC3EKO |

There is none in Pa for radios. Supporting equipment and parts, yes. You have to go the HRO in Delaware for hands on radios. Good luck. |

Couple of suggestions: Meet your local hams through a radio club, make friends, ask for advice and/or tours of their shacks. Some clubs have club stations you could check out. Maybe somebody will have a current radio that you'd be interested in. Schedule a trip to CT, and check out the fine late model equipment for visitors at W1AW! 73 Martin AA6E |
