ARRL FD and AMSAT FD

Hope this is an okay place for this post. Both ARRL and AMSAT concurrently run Field Day. ARRL gives 2 points for digital and CW contacts over the "birds" while AMSAT gives 3. This makes scoring rather difficult. It would be helpful if the scoring systems could be aligned. CW and especially digital over the satellites is not easy - suggest the AMSAT approach (3 points) for both groups John K4SQC |
