Is PSK31 available to Technician Class operators? If so, what freqs/bands? Or, is this mode only available to General and above class operators? |

You can also operate PSK-31 on 6 meters (above 50.1 MHz) and 2 meters (above 144.1 MHz) as a technician. I have heard PSK activity around 50.250 MHz and some activity a little above or below 144.200 MHz. Of course, PSK31and all other data transmissions are allowed on higher bands, but you probably will not find any activity there. Bob Allison WB1GCM |
