WEARS focuses on emergency communications and public service support.  We operate a mobile commmunications van with ham VHF/UHF, fire department VHF, 800 MHz trunk system radios, VOIP telephone, and Winlink VHF and HF email, and other capabilities in support of multi-agency incidents.  We also provice communications support for various community events large and small such as the Westmoreland County Airshow, and various run/walk events.  We also maintain a VHF Winlink email gateway with supporting digipeaters and multiple repeaters on VHF/UHF voice, D-Star, DMR, and Yaesu System Fusion.
