The Douglas C-47 Skytrain was a valuable asset to the Allies during World War 2. More than half of the 10,174 C-47’s that were built, were built at Tinker Air Force Base in Oklahoma. 2019 marks the 75th Anniversary of the C-47 that is on display at Regional Park in Midwest City, OK just a few miles from the location that it was built.
