In honor of the commissioning of the US Navy’s newest vessel, LCS-9 (USS Little Rock), which will take place on December 16 2017 in Buffalo New York, RAWNY will conduct a special event honoring USS Little Rock as it is commissioned alongside its namesake, the original USS Little Rock, CLG-4. Not in 240 years has such a commissioning taken place and RAWNY is honored to have it’s club station, W2PE, on board the original USS Little Rock. W2PE will be on the air all week from 1500 to 2000 UTC (weather permitting) with the final event taking place during the commissioning ceremony on December 16.
