06/16/2008 | NP3CW For the last four to five week we were having good openings on 6 mtrs band to Europe, NA, SA, Caribbean and few stations from Africa.
I was expecting good contacts during this 2008 VHF QSO Party.
I was able to work only local stations until Sunday when I made the first DX with PV8AZ in FJ92 at 14:20 UTC.Made few contacts with 9Y4D and 9Z4BM. After that had a very high electrical line noise.
I enjoy a visit from my son and daugther to celebrate Father's Day with the family.
Around 21:32 UTC started to hear stations from North America and made some contacts with EN10, EN60, EM24, EM74,FN20,FN31, FM08 grids stations and many others including VE3OJN in FN25.
Made 6 QSO in 144 Mhz and 2 QSO in 432 Mhz.
Hope to have better propagation next time.
