01/05/2008 | W7OS Each year the W7OS Clifford J "Doc Spike" Antique Radio Museum participates in Straight Key Night. Along with Straight Keys and Bugs... We like to heat up the old vacuum tube rigs from the past and pound some brass to help preserve some of the history and traditions of amateur radio.

This year our museum underwent some minor remodeling and a make-over... The Museum's Grand Opening was scheduled to coincide with SKN.

33 members of the Radio Club turned out for the 2008 SKN Potluck Dinner and Brass Pounding event. 18 QSOs were made by 8 different CW operators using the old equipment. A great time was had by all.
