01/05/2008 | WB2WGX I made seven really enjoyable contacts.Three were ragchews with
old friends including a guy I went to college with in 1968.
I used my 1911 A.W. Bowman spark key to start with,then went
to the Lennart Pettersson Swedish Pump key.David N1EA wired up
his Pump key during our chat so they could be on at the same time!
My rig was the E.F.Johnson Valiant and Collins 75A4.It was fun
to zero beat again,and hear the vintage tube homebrew rigs on the
air again.
The best Fists were WA2YSJ-Bob.and N1EA-David.
It was so much fun I plan to fire up the antiques more often.
