01/03/2008 | WB6CGJ Straight Key Night 2008 was great. The CW band was busy day and night with "hand made" code. I heard some great fists out there that sounded like music to my ears. My old Heathkit Apache TX-1 transmitter and National NC-183 receiver kept the shack warm and glowing. Had a little help from my friend Tigger who acted as a "heatsink" on top of the NC-183 and Belle who kept the computer mouse away. It was great bringing in the New Year with K6KPH, N7KM, KP4DX, WA6UVW,WF5W, and W7GVE. Looking forward to SKN 2009.
