01/02/2008 | KR7RK One of my New Year's Resolutions is to get more active with CW. SKN gave me a great opportunity to get started. I spent most of the time listening to other QSO's and building up my confidence, and a family hike in the daytime limited my operating time, so I only made 3 QSO's. One of those was with N6WK, one of the founders of SKCC; his SKCC# 3T is now in my log! As a recent SKCC member (#3792), that was an exciting QSO for me to make. I have both a paddle and a key, and although the paddle has a cleaner sound, I enjoy working the key a lot more. -- KR7RK
