01/01/2008 | W6RBK This was my first SKN despite having been a ham since 1972! Once 4 PM PST hit, it was as if I had been sent back in time to my novice days when CW was the only mode, and nobody had high speed keyers! My favorite QSO was with Kevin, WD0AVV, who was using a Russian made key and had to battle with it constantly to key the screws from falling out! Somehow he tamed it, allowing us to enjoy a great QSO. -- W6RBK
