I love SKN.  It motivates me to dust off the old 3-band Heath HW-16 and get it in shape. I built it in '72 as a teenager and we know each other well. This year I modified the neon side tone osc that's been too loud and a bit piercing (800 Hz).  Increasing R63 and 64 by 470k each did the trick.  On the air, this old CW rig rocked at 50W out, using xtals and a modern VFO (KX3 makes a nice one).  Unfortunately, I couldn't get any answers to my CQs on 40m and 15m, finally making only one contact.  Ted (W6TED) and I had an FB chat using the straight key.  It was my 1st CW contact in 3 yrs, so I appreciated his patience. Looking forward to another SKN next year, COVID free.
