I had a great time talking to old friends and new friends alike.  I wish this event lasted for a week!  The most fun event on the air.  I would like to see SKN brought back instead of RST, for old time's sake.  Best fist I heard was AC6YY, Ned, just superb!  Most interesting QSO was with KM6RI, David, with his brand new homebrew Lew McCoy design tube TX from 50 years ago.  It sounded fantastic!

The highly modified HW-16 is from my Elmer, W5NYT/K6IVO (SK).  It features a 2nd IF, shielding, calibrator, real sidetone, amp relay, among other things.  It puts out a whopping 70w into a calibrated wattmeter.  I did nothing to it other than recapping.  Other rigs were a K2 and K3.  Keys were a Viz Vertical, modern Vibroplex Blue Racer with Vari-ease, and a W4NYT SL170.
