Field Day for this year found me at my cottage in Northern Wisconsin. To be completely social distancing, I operated from an island in Cranberry Lake which I accessed by driving my boat 1 mile to the north end which is a county park. It was fair winds and following seas. Working as a solo 1B, I was able to get 162 QSOs, half on SSB and half on CW. With the sun about to set and the bugs moving in, it was time to pack up and QSY back to the cabin. Fourth of July started early as nearby boats were shooting off fireworks as I rode back in the dark. This was my third Field Day on the island, having operated here in 2016 and 2017.
