ALTHOUGH YOU CAN PURCHASE A SPECIAL LOW LEAKAGE DIODE, IT IS QUITE SATISFACTORY TO USE THE COLLECTOR BASE JUNCTION OF AN INEXPENSIVE TRANSISTOR FOR THIS FUNCTION.
